BRAWLEY — Four Imperial Valley nonprofit organizations — Access to Thrive, The Becoming Project, Our Roots Multicultural Center, and Comité Cívico del Valle (CCV) — have joined forces to launch POWER (People Organizing for Wellness & Restoration), a new coalition aimed at strengthening community voice and advocacy across the region.
The coalition seeks to unite grassroots organizations to advance a shared agenda focused on disability rights, homelessness and substance use recovery, economic opportunity, senior empowerment, and environmental justice.
