If you’re planning to do any trick-or-treating on Halloween night, be sure to bundle up.

Matt Gillen, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Gaylord, said the forecast for Friday, Oct. 31 is calling for fairly cold temperatures.

“It’s going to be a relatively cool day, especially for the trick-or-treat timeframe,” Gillen said. “We’re looking at temperatures kind of in that 4-7 p.m. window in the low to mid 40s.”

Gillen added that there will be a brisk wind across the region as well.

"A little bit breezy, too, at that time,” he said. “Probably in the upper 30s will be the feels-like temperature. Certainly an evening to bundle up on, that’s for sure.”

There may also be a small chance for some rain.
