Darbhanga (Bihar), Oct 29: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the INDIA bloc, alleging that RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav wants to make his son Tejashwi Yadav the chief minister of Bihar, while Congress leader Sonia Gandhi wishes to see her son Rahul Gandhi as prime minister — but asserted that “both posts are not vacant.”
Addressing a public rally in Darbhanga, Shah termed the Mahagathbandhan an “thug bandhan,” accusing Lalu of involvement in multiple scams — including the fodder, bitumen, and land-for-jobs cases — and claiming the Congress was implicated in corruption worth ₹12 lakh crore.
