Nick Sanford, the founder of Toss & Fire Wood-fired Pizza, fell in love with the restaurant business as a 14-year-old busing tables at Bella Napoli Pizza near his childhood home in Milford, Connecticut.
“The chaos of the kitchen was really cool,” says Sanford. “From there, I learned all the positions in the restaurant because I was interested. I was curious.”
