Light and spotty showers Wednesday afternoon becomes more widespread and heavy at time by the evening and into the early overnight hours. The rain winds down around midnight for most areas. There is a small chance for a few spotty showers and even a wintry mix over the higher elevations of the mountains Thursday while the Upstate dries out.

We pick up another half an inch to inch of rain today and tomorrow. While widespread flooding isn’t expect there could be some isolated spots in the mountains to get some localized flooding
