South Carolina defensive line coach Travian Robertson has shared a hopeful health update nearly two months after a horrific car crash that left him seriously injured. Back in late August, Robertson was involved in a violent accident that could have easily taken his life. A month ago, he shared some terrifying photos from the crash. His mangled car, a picture of himself in the hospital, and another with his children by his side. “A little over five weeks ago, my entire world shifted for me and for my family,” Robertson wrote at the time, reflecting on the near-tragic ordeal.

Now, after a long and painful recovery process, the South Carolina assistant has offered an encouraging update. On Monday, Robertson revealed that his final surgery was successful and that he’s finally back home.
