Canadian snowbirds continue to be generous when it comes to U.S. travel. Despite the current boycotts, many snowbirds are still visiting the U.S. and paying a premium to do so, booking in advance.
However, travel insecurities are continuing to grow.
Given a couple of new rules and changes, Canadians are now being told to "be prepared" for possible secondary inspections at the U.S. border.
Along with the inspection, Canadians may also need to pay $30 upon entry. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has confirmed this change, calling it "standard procedures."
