Soyabean carry forward stocks for the oil year 2025-26 starting October are estimated at 4.66 lakh tonnes, down 47 per cent from corresponding last year’s 8.94 lakh tonnes. Similarly, the carry forward stock of soyameal are estimated at 0.68 lakh tonnes, down 49 per cent from corresponding previous year’s 1.33 lakh tonnes.

Of the estimated carry forward of 4.66 lakh tonnes, stocks with farmers, trade and plants are projected at 4.42 lakh tonnes. Agencies such as NAFED and NCCF are holding about 0.24 lakh tonnes as of October 14, 2025, as per the latest supply demand estimates of Soyabean Processors Association of India.
