GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The western slope is slowly warming back up as a cold air mass responsible for sub-freezing temperatures breaks up and leaves the area. Sunny skies are expected with highs nearing 60 degrees for Grand Junction. Very little breezes will help make things feel a little warmer today as well. Tonight, mostly clear conditions continue with overnight lows reaching the mid-to-upper thirties. Freeze warnings expire this morning, and afternoon highs recover 5 to 10 degrees above Tuesday`s.
