Cameron Norrie pulled off one of the biggest tennis shocks of the year as he fought back to beat Carlos Alcaraz at the Paris Masters on Tuesday (October 28).
The British No. 2 rallied to beat the World No. 1 and top seed 4-6 6-3 6-4 to advance from the Round of 32 stage at the year's final ATP 100 event.
The defeat for Alcaraz was his first at a Masters tournament since David Goffin got the better of him at the Miami Open in March.
The Spaniard now runs the risk of losing his status as the world's best player, as a title triumph for Jannik Sinner in the French capital this week would see him reclaim the top ranking spot.
