MARLIN, Texas — A Marlin police officer turned himself in to authorities this month, nearly five months after a crash that injured three people in Bell County.

James Millen, an officer with the Marlin Police Department, surrendered to the Falls County Sheriff's Office on Oct. 8 for a deadly conduct warrant. The surrender came after a May 14 rollover crash on SE HK Dodgen Loop in Temple that left three people hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

What Happened?

According to the Temple Police Department, officers were sent to the 22500 block of SE HK Dodgen Loop near Old Highway 95 around 2:05 p.m. on May 14 after receiving reports of a traffic accident.
