President Donald Trump continued his trip throughout Asia on Wednesday where he met with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in Gyeongju.
After an honor ceremony, Trump and Lee sat down for a meeting with their advisers. Lee is asking Trump to allow South Korea to receive fuel needed to develop nuclear-powered submarines.

During their Wednesday meeting, Lee told reporters that South Korea doesn’t intend to build nuclear-armed submarines, but seeks armed, nuclear-powered ones capable of functioning quietly underwater for extended periods.
