Huge Boots expansion across England in major boost for women View Image
Boots is expanding the NHS’ Emergency Hormonal Contraception Service in a major update that will see pharmacies across England being able to provide the morning after pill for free without the need for a GP or clinic appointment. However, not everyone will be eligible.
In order to get the pill, patients will need to have a private talk with their local Boots pharmacist so the medical professional can ensure the pill is right for you and explain how to take it.
According to the NHS , people who are overweight or need to take steroid medication for conditions like asthma may not be able to take the pill.
Certain medications and herbal remedies can also impact the effectiveness of the morning after pill. It’s
