The weather leading up to Halloween 2025 is shaping up to be unpleasant in the First State.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, said a strong storm system is forecast to bring high winds, heavy rainfall, widespread minor coastal flooding and a possible isolated severe storm to Delaware and parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey on Thursday, Oct. 30 and into Friday, Oct. 31.

Wind gusts up to 50 MPH in Delaware
Widespread wind gusts between 35 to 40 mph are likely Thursday and Friday throughout most of Delaware with winds between 45 to 50 mph possible for areas around Rehoboth Beach, according to the National Weather Service.
Wind gusts nearing 40 to 50 mph could result in some tree damage and isolated power outages.
