Evansville police say a man is in jail after causing the death of someone driving a moped.

Officers were dispatched to North Weinbach and Keck Avenue for an accident with injuries.

When officers arrived, they saw the moped driver, identified as Roosevelt McNeil, lying in the street.

A witness told police the driver of a truck, later identified as Dustin Roxbury, was traveling north on Weinbach when he ran over McNeil.

Police found marijuana in Roxbury’s truck, and blood tests later revealed he had THC in his system.

Roxbury is facing several charges
