Hyderabad: Cyclone Montha caused widespread rains across Telangana with several districts recording heavy rainfall on Wednesday. Inclement weather conditions are likely to prevail across the State with the IMD-Hyderabad issuing an orange alert for several districts for Thursday.

According to the data recorded by the Telangana Development Planning Society till 4 pm on Wednesday, Warangal bore the brunt with four locations recording more than 20 cm rainfall. Nekkonda recorded rainfall of 24.63 cm followed by Parvathagiri with 23.48
