New syracuse.com high school football power rankings: Top teams stay hot ahead of playoffs

Syracuse, N.Y. — Playoff football gets underway in Section III this week and our latest power rankings have the top teams at the top.

Class AA and 8-man No. 1 seeds Christian Brothers Academy and Frankfort-Schuyler are No. 1 in their respective rankings this week. Whitesboro is the highest-ranked Class A school, New Hartford is the highest-ranked from Class B and Lowville is the highest-ranked from Class D.
