1ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for portions of New Jersey’s shoreline and nearby tidal communities, warning of minor flooding through Thursday evening as rain and gusty winds move in.

The advisory covers Ocean, Atlantic, Coastal Ocean, Coastal Atlantic, and Southeastern Burlington counties.

Forecasters expect up to one foot of inundation in low-lying areas near bays, tidal waterways, and shorelines.
