Dispute, Red Oak Drive: On Oct. 24, a Red Oak Drive resident called police regarding a dispute.
The man told an officer he brought a new popcorn machine for his children to use and their mother is refusing to give it back.
Police are investigating.
Suspicious situation, Park Lane Drive: On Oct. 4, a Park Lane Drive resident called police about a possible scam.
A resident told police she received a call from a bank saying due to the fact she was such a good customer, they were going to send her a phone.
After receiving an iPhone, a man then called back to say they sent the wrong phone.
Next, they sent her an Android.
That’s when she became suspicious, which was followed by fraudulent charges on her bank account.
The bank did take care of the fraudulent charges.
