NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio
Slashed trees, York Alpha Drive: On Oct. 2, a Davey Tree Services employee called police after discovering property damage to equipment parked on York Alpha Drive.
An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said two woodchippers and a trailer had tires slashed.
The incident, which took place overnight, included seven slashed tires.
The business owner didn’t have any suspects in mind.
Police are investigating.
Drunken driving, State Road: On Sept. 27, police observed a beige SUV abruptly pull out of a bar and onto State Road causing the cruiser to slow down and nearly causing a crash.
The Broadview Heights driver than started speeding, traveling 62 mph in a 35-mph zone.
While talking to the woman, the officer smelled booze.
