Cam'ron has filed a lawsuit against J. Cole for allegedly not properly compensating him for their first collaboration.

According to a report Billboard published on Tuesday, October 28, the rapper-podcaster, born Cameron Giles, accused Jermaine Cole of not following through with his end of the deal for their popular song "Ready '24," which appeared on the Dreamville co-founder's project, Might Delete Later . The two seasoned MC's recorded the track in June 2022. In exchange for the feature, Killa Cam claims Cole agreed to either hop on another song with him or pull up to his hit podcast It Is What It Is. Cam alleges Cole has yet to do either.

In the legal documents, Cam says he asked Cole to jump on two prerecorded tracks in September 2022. In response, Cole said
