Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace — known for its gourmet Italian groceries like pizzas, freshly made pasta and fresh mozzarella — announced Oct. 28 that it’s going on a 1,000-person hiring spree across its New Jersey and New York stores over the next year.
That includes over 150 additional hires at each of the New Jersey stores, according to Sarah Ciuba, a representative for Rosica Communications, which does public relations for the supermarket chain.
In New Jersey, Uncle Giuseppe’s has stores in Morris Plains, Ramsey and Tinton Falls.
All three stores will have hiring events starting Saturday, Nov. 1, Ciuba added. They will repeat on the first Saturday of every month, typically from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
