KENNESAW, Ga. — The Kennesaw State Owls are flying high and now basking in the glow of becoming bowl eligible for the first time.
KSU rolled to a 33-20 win over UTEP on Tuesday night, their sixth straight victory. At 4-0 in conference play, they're currently first in Conference USA.
Thanks to their win streak, their remarkable progress under first year coach Jerry Mack in their first full-fledged FBS season -- and a little due in part to Conference USA's midweek games putting them in the spotlight -- the Owls were the darlings of the college football world come Wednesday morning.
They were highlighted on X by popular posters such as the @RedditCFB account and @SickosCommittee, as well as loads of other college football fans congratulating the Owls.
Last night was pretty fun 😎 #SeeUs
