A brand new cycling hub dedicated to enriching the lives of older people and those with limited mobility has opened in Ayr .
The ribbon was cut on the Cycling Without Age Scotland (CWAS) Ayr Hub, at the Blackburn Car Park, on Sunday, October 19.
And there was a good attendance from supporters, volunteers, members of the public, South Ayrshire Councillors and Ayr MSP, Siobhian Brown, as the hub pedalled into gear.
The hub will act as a base for anyone interested in a free trishaw ride. Trishaws are three-wheeled bicycles, piloted by trained volunteers, and they enable passengers to enjoy the outdoors, share stories, and reconnect with their communities.
