P rince William and Prince Harry ’s aunt, Lady Sarah McCorquodale , has been hospitalized following a “very bad fall,” her brother, Earl Charles Spencer , told Gyles Brandreth on a recent episode of the Rosebud podcast . Lady Sarah, 70, was horse riding at the time of the accident and has been something of a “handful” during her time in hospital, Spencer joked.

“Sarah, who is nearly a decade older than me, who was always in trouble, she’s quite punchy,” he said of his sibling, Princess Diana’s older sister who once dated the then- Prince Charles . “She’s still riding, and she’s had a really bad fall in the last month and has been in hospital for a long time,” Spencer added, though he did not elaborate on the nature of Lady Sarah’s injuries.
