Fellow officers and family members are mourning a veteran Miami Beach Police officer who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday .

Tributes have been pouring in on social media for Officer David Cajuso, who lost his life in the crash along Interstate 75.

"A decorated, decorated hero," Miami Beach Police Chief Wayne Jones said of Cajuso.

Cajuso, 33, was a 10-year veteran of the department and leaves behind a wife and three young children, ages 2, 3, and 5, Jones said. Miami Beach Police Department

Within hours of his death, fellow officers from departments across South Florida lined a procession in his honor.

Officers were seen comforting his family while his wife kissed his casket.

On Wednesday, flags outside the Miami Beach Police Department were being kept at half-staff.
