(WJET/WFXP)-- Another Erie winter is just around the corner and the City of Erie will be starting their winter parking regulations this Saturday, November 1, but taking effect on Monday.

Starting Monday, November 3, winter parking regulations will be in effect on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the City of Erie, meaning drivers will have to park on one side of the street or the other during the enforced hours.

Streets included in the regulation will have odd-even parking signs posted for which side of the street to park on to allow plows and sweepers to make their way through.

Odd-even parking will not be enforced on weekends, barring a big snowstorm in the forecast, the city said. In the event of a big weekend snowstorm, the city said notice will be given for residents to move
