The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for 17 districts across Maharashtra as the state continues to experience rain influenced by the Cyclone Mointha .

While rainfall intensity is expected to reduce gradually from October 30, northern parts of the state will continue to see heavy showers through Thursday.

Mumbai and Suburbs: The city is likely to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 34°C , and the minimum near 26°C . A yellow alert has been issued for Palghar district due to possible heavy rain in North Konkan areas.
