Monday night, we heard from people in favor of changing the way Millcreek Township government operates. Tuesday night, we heard from opponents.
Currently, Millcreek Township is a three-supervisor form of government.
Tuesday, residents will vote on a referendum that, if approved, would eliminate the supervisors and the township would operate with a five-member council and a township manager.
Supervisor Kim Clear said after Cranberry Township changed its form of government, taxes there increased 155% in just six years, because of the increased costs associated with the manager/council form of government.
