Aidan Hutchinson is officially signed as a Detroit Lions player through 2030.
The Lions on Wednesday, Oct. 29, agreed to a four-year contract extension with Hutchinson , their standout fourth-year defensive end, for $180 million, $141 million of which is guaranteed.
Hutchinson becomes the No. 2 highest paid non-quarterback in the NFL, getting less overall money than Micah Parsons, who just signed a four-year, $186 million deal with the Green Bay Packers days before the season opener. However, Hutchinson's guaranteed money is $5 million more than Parsons' $136 million.
