A man living in British Columbia is facing 15 charges in connection with a series of violent sexual assaults that took place in Southwestern Ontario communities nearly 30 years ago, police say.
Wednesday, Ontario Provincial Police detailed four separate incidents that happened between March and August of 1997 – in Lambton County, Kent County and Sarnia – that involved four female victims, three of whom were “young persons” at the time, police said.

On March 26, 1997, at about 9:30 p.m., police say a female youth was “abducted” in the area of Exmouth Street and Indian Road in Sarnia. Police say she was taken to a spot in Sombra Township in Lambton County and sexually assaulted.
