CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati Interim Police Chief Adam Hennie and city leaders will release new details in the officer-involved shooting that took place Tuesday afternoon in Madisonville.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.

Mayor Aftab Pureval and city manager Sheryl Long and city councilman Scotty Johnson will be in attendance.

A Tuesday welfare check in Madisonville ended with a person in the hospital, according to Cincinnati Police Interim Chief Adam Hennie.

The interim chief said officers were called to a home on Haley Avenue around 2 p.m. for the welfare check.
