Officials are set to announce an update on the unsolved rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl in Bucks County that occurred more than 60 years ago.
Carol Ann Dougherty was raped and murdered in Bristol, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 22, 1962. Her body was found inside the St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church in Bristol. Her case remained unsolved for decades.

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m., Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn, Pennsylvania State Police leaders and other law enforcement officials will reveal new information and findings from a Bucks County Grand Jury that investigated the cold case.
