A special new military troop was unveiled on Wednesday in London to honor Sikh soldiers who fought for Britain in the First World War.

Wearing World War I Sikh infantry uniforms and carrying period equipment, the soldiers for The 1914 Sikhs Ceremonial Marching Troop marched during a special ceremony at Wellington Barracks.

It honors more than 100,000 Sikh soldiers who fought for Britain between 1914 and 1918.
