Nunzio’s Pizza Town, the family-owned pizzeria in West Babylon that has been in business for more than 50 years, is closing, according to a post on the venue's Facebook page. Saturday is its last day.

The restaurant started in 1967 when Nunzio and Antonina Minissale arrived from Italy, according to the restaurant's website. The family has been creating pies, calzones and Italian American classics for decades, from fried calamari and baked clams to eggplant rollatini, stuffed shells and homemade lasagna. Pizza here is topped with everything from mushrooms to pepperoni, and heroes include chicken Parm, sausage and peppers, and potato and egg. Rounding out the menu are fresh zeppoles.
