‘The Crumlin club is like the parish in the city’ – Remembering a special day 40 years on

The King of the Road. It resounded around O’Toole Park last Saturday.

Forty years ago, Jimmy Boggan sang it. And with good reason.

Crumlin had just become the All-Ireland Club Camogie champions.

And, four decades on, the players met up once again to celebrate their special achievement.

The room was beautifully decorated. Afternoon Tea was served.

Declan Drake was doing the interviews. There were a feast of golden memories.

Crumlin beat Athenry in the final. It was played at O’Toole Park.
