An apparent immigration raid in Oxnard turned unruly Tuesday morning.
Federal agents contacted the Oxnard Police Department just before 6 a.m. to advise that they'd be serving federal search warrants in the 400 block of A Street, Watch Commander Miguel Serrato told KTLA.
The Department of Homeland Security was in the area for several hours, and Serrato did not have any information about potential arrests or injuries.
Aerial footage from Sky5 showed what appeared to be several dozen protesters, many of whom appeared to yell at federal vehicles as they went by.
What appeared to be a smoke grenade, tear gas or something similar was also deployed, aerial footage showed.
