The Steelers might be getting some depth back in the secondary. The team announced Wednesday that cornerback Cory Trice Jr. returned to practice.
Trice remains on injured reserve but the team now has 21 days to re-activate him. If not, he’ll stay on IR for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old cornerback joins linebacker Malik Harrison and quarterback Will Howard on the designated to return list.
Trice was drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Steelers. He’s struggled with injuries over his career, opening the 2025 season on IR after hurting his hamstring. Trice has appeared in six career games with one start.
Pittsburgh will face the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
