Seven people have been arrested and law enforcement seized several pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, ecstasy and marijuana in a Carbon County narcotics ring bust.

Cruz “June” Rodriguez, 31, of New Philadelphia, Schuylkill County, and the alleged leader of the organization, is facing 23 felony counts.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday in a news conference Tuesday announcing the charges said Rodriguez was the wholesale supplier of illegal and controlled substances connected to the Second Street gang in Allentown . He sold to several dealers across Carbon and Schuylkill counties, Sunday said.

Also charged is Elijah Marie Camacho, 29, of New Philadelphia, Schuylkill County, Rodriguez’s girlfriend.

Five others working as part of the alleged network also were charge
