A mum who watched her son die from a stabbing to the heart after an " assassination " by a group of men has spoken of her six year wait for justice.
Tony Ferns was attacked as he sat in his car , after dropping off his girlfriend at her home in Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire
The 33-year-old was able to drive the short distance home but died in front of his mother and partner following the April 2019 stabbing, which saw four men jailed for a total of more than 80 years.
His mum Phyllis has now thanked those who helped secure the long-awaited sentences, saying they also brought justice to her late disabled son Mark, who a court heard had been central to the feud that sparked Tony’s murder, reports the Daily Record .
