BIG RAPIDS — Three Ferris State student athletes earned GLIAC Player of the Week Honors.
Wide receiver Taariik Brett and safety Justin Payoute both had big moments in the Bulldogs’ win over rival Grand Valley on Saturday.
Brett had four touchdowns in the first half and a team-high 89 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Payoute led the team in tackles with eight and also forced a fumble and snagged an interception.
Volleyball libero Hope Davies also earned Player of the Week accolades thanks to her 35 digs as Ferris ran their winning street to 11 games with a win over Davenport at Purdue Northwest.
