TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A Hillsborough County judge on Wednesday sentenced five men to life in prison for the murder of 4-year-old Suni Bell, who was shot and killed when more than 50 bullets were fired into her family’s car four years ago.

Despite their pain, Bell’s family said they hope the men can change their lives, even behind bars.

“It’s life for the rest of your lives in prison with no chance for parole,” Judge Robin Fuson told the men.

Bell’s family filled the courtroom wearing shirts with her photo. The five defendants, Zvante Sampson, Jaylin Bedward, James Denson, Quandarious Hammond and Andrew Thompson were all convicted earlier this year.
