MORTE POINT (6.00) can defy a 7lb penalty in the Bet 10 Get 40 With BetMGM Handicap at Southwell tonight.
The three-year-old continues to improve with each run, having won twice in his last three starts, the most recent being his best, when showing a good turn of foot to score by two lengths at Chelmsford a fortnight ago.
Both his victories were over today’s 7f trip and with co-trainers William Muir and Chris Grassick on a good run of form at present, the son of Due Diligence will be tough to beat.
