INDIANAPOLIS — A man with an alleged trove of spying equipment is accused of sending intimate videos of his ex-girlfriend to her friends on Instagram. These videos were reportedly filmed with hidden cameras while they were dating— without her knowledge.
Patrick Rubeck, 40, of Indianapolis, was arrested on Monday on an outstanding warrant by Carmel police. Officers pulled Rubeck over just after midnight and allegedly discovered both cocaine and a firearm inside his BMW.
Rubeck is forbidden from carrying a firearm due to being charged with felony theft in 2003. He'd later plead to a lesser misdemeanor conversion charge. Rubeck's ex also had an active protective order against him, which police said prevents him from carrying a handgun.
