Dancing With the Stars pro Alan Bersten is grateful to be continuing on in the competition after partner Elaine Hendrix’s hospitalization.

“You guys voted, we are going to be safe. We got another dance to [perform],” Bersten, 31, said during a TikTok Live with girlfriend Emma Slater after the Tuesday, October 28, Halloween Night episode.

He continued, “We’re going to take it easy but we will be back for the show. We will take this week easy.”

Minutes into the live show on Tuesday, news broke that Hendrix, 54, was in the hospital after suffering an injury during dress rehearsal. While in the hospital, Hendrix addressed her absence in a social media video.
