LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An Old Louisville ramen shop is closing permanently on Wednesday more than a year after a fatal car crash caused the building to catch fire.
"It is with great sadness that I must announce that today will be the last day of service for Renshoku Ramen," the business said Wednesday on Facebook.
Renshoku Ramen cited both the fire and a shooting as reasons for its closing.
"We have did everything in our power to overcome the financial burdens of our restaurant but with no success. From getting our windows shot out to a fire that shut us down for 3 months we simply could not recover," Renshoku Ramen said in the social media post.
