A man who was found dead under an overpass in the Inland Empire after a hit-and-run has yet to be identified months later.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reissued a statement Wednesday saying that the body of the man was found just after 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 15 underneath the 15 Freeway’s Foothill Boulevard overpass in Rancho Cucamonga.
Arriving deputies located the man’s body and determined that it had been struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the months since the man’s death, SBSD has been unable to identify him, but they have released details surrounding his description: • 25-35 years old • 5 feet, 3 inches tall • 129 pounds • Black hair, mustache and chin hair • Has tattoo of a "Playboy" bunny shape on his left wrist
