CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The woman who died after being hit by a vehicle in Clovis on Tuesday evening has been identified by the Clovis Police Department.

According to Clovis Police, around 9:30 p.m., they responded to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Clovis Avenue, just south of Griffith Way. The victim died at the scene.

The woman who was struck has since been identified as 55-year-old Tina Taylor of Clovis.

Investigators say Taylor was crossing Clovis Avenue eastbound before she was hit by a vehicle traveling northbound. The driver remained on scene and was not suspected of being under the influence.
