LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Two central Arkansas-based institutions have stepped up to assist with aid during the ongoing government shutdown.
Arvest Bank and Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield are both providing support during the shutdown.
Arvest officials said the bank is reinstituting the Arvest Assist program, launched after the 2018-2019 government shutdown. Officials said the bank has accommodations available for anyone suffering paycheck disruption, depending on their circumstances.
The bank is also offering a disaster relief loan program through Nov. 21.
