TSN’s coverage of a game between the Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs is drawing some criticism over some poor attention to detail.

During an intermission segment of Tuesday night’s game, one in which the Flames fell to the Leafs by a 4-3 final, fans noticed that the Canadian sports channel had an extremely outdated Flames logo on display.

Rather than having the flaming red ‘C’ that the Flames rock on their away sweaters, or the white ‘C’ they use on their home kits, the TSN panel showed a dark Flames logo, one which they haven’t used since the 2019-20 season.

It is a minor but surprising mistake given how long it’s been since the Flames went with that logo. Many Flames supporters picked up on the mistake and were quick to criticize TSN for caring only about the Leafs, a critique
